Hi, we're husband and wife duo Maddie and Marino!

We opened Empty Jars because we wanted to make it possible for us to shop both ethically and without all the packaging we find in supermarkets - all whilst not breaking the bank.

We've carefully sourced our products so that they are ethical, zero waste, and local or organic. Our cleaning supplies are free from all the nasty chemicals found in supermarket cleaning brands so no nasties are going into our water system, and our suppliers are all UK based cooperatives, local makers, and community organisations.

Whilst we really value organic, local, and zero waste, we also want our shop to be affordable. We've kept our margains really low on essential items, and you will find that we beat supermarkets on a lot of our items so that helping the earth doesn't cost the earth!
